Dr. Nayif Alnaif is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Toronto. Dr. Alnaif completed a five-year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Following his residency, Dr. Alnaif completed a one-year Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at North Texas Plastic Surgery in Dallas, Texas, and a one-year Breast Microsurgery Reconstruction fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. With a passion for transformative procedures and a commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Alnaif ensures that patients receive the highest standard of care in the art and science of plastic surgery.
Dr. Greg Bodie is a board certified minimally invasive and General Surgeon. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology at the University of Alberta, medical school at the University of Sydney, and surgical residency at the University of Toronto. Following this, he completed fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) at the university of British Columbia, at Vancouver General Hospital. He enjoys a broad surgical practice including foregut, acute care, breast, and colorectal oncology.
Dr Erik Hopkins is a board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Southern Ontario. After completing medical school at the University of Calgary, he continued his education by completing his Plastic Surgery residency at McMaster University. He enjoys a broad surgical practice including hand surgery, skin cancer, and trauma.
Dr. Alana Hosein is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. She graduated from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University in 2005 and then completed her General Surgery Residency at McMaster in 2012. She subspecialized in Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Toronto. She joined Credit Valley Hospital as a staff surgeon in 2017. She has been a faculty member of the University of Toronto Medical School since 2013 and is currently an Assistant Professor and the Lead in Education of General Surgery at Credit Valley Hospital. She is also the Breast Disease Site Lead in the Division of Oncology at Trillium Health Partners. Dr. Hosein joined The Minor Surgery Centre in 2023 and provides surgical expertise for benign and malignant skin diseases.
Dr. Kunaal Jindal is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Toronto. Dr Jindal is internationally trained and has numerous publications in key journals in his field. He is well respected for his work in aesthetic facial, breast and body surgery and is an avid speaker and educator in facial injectectables. Dr. Jindal attended medical school at the University of Manitoba, after which he completed a five-year residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Jindal is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Jindal has also completed an Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, he has a fellowship in Hand & Wrist Surgery from Toronto Western Hospital.

Following the completion of my studies in South Africa, my family and I moved to the beautiful province of British Columbia, where I have spent the last 11 years working as a full-service family doctor. My professional journey has been centered around providing comprehensive healthcare services that cater to the unique needs of individuals and families across generations. I firmly believe that the building blocks of family practice begins and ends with communication, and I endeavour to always provide this comfort whether it be at my office or at the surgical center. Dr. Robert Tutino is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Toronto. He is active staff at Trillium Health Partners, where he is leading one of the largest Breast Reconstructive Surgery Programs in Canada. Dr. Tutino is also a lecturer in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery at the University of Toronto. Following medical school at McMaster University, Dr. Tutino attended the University of Toronto for a five-year residency, focusing on Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Tutino is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Tutino has also completed a one-year fellowship in Breast/Microsurgery in Melbourne, Australia. Simultaneously, he undertook a fellowship with Dr. Bryan Mendelson, world renowned facial plastic surgeon.
Dr Monica Yu is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She completed her Bachelors of Health Sciences degree at McMaster University. After completing medical school at the University of Toronto, she continued her education in the city, completing her five year Plastic Surgery residency. During her residency, Dr Yu completed a Masters of Science in Health Care Quality degree at Queens University. After board certification by The Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada, Dr Yu completed a Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Manitoba.
Athena is a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse certified with the Collage of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). She brings a variety of clinical experience within the hospital, including post-operative care, long-term care, and medicine. A 2020 graduate from Ryerson University, Athena combines her rigorous academic career with over four years of practical experience in the medical spa industry, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and aesthetic care to her practice. Athena is known for her compassionate approach and commitment to providing exceptional patient care. She’s committed to her professional development in order to stay up-to-date with current practices and standards to broaden her skills and ensure quality patient care.
Jane Routledge is a Registered Nurse certified by the College of Nurses of Ontario. She completed her nursing degree at St Francis Xavier University in 2018. Jane has experience working in a variety of surgical settings which lead her to join The Minor Surgery Center in 2021. With a passion for people, Jane provides a high standard of care and education to all her patients.
Nikole Stephens is a Registered Practical Nurse that is licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and is also a member of the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (RPNAO). She obtained her nursing diploma in 2011 from Centennial College. Shortly after, she began working as a staff nurse at The Credit Valley Hospital in the medical surgical department. In 2017, she joined the Credit Valley surgical clinics. Thereafter, she was recruited to the The Minor Surgery Center in 2020 where she pridefully takes on the role as a nurse manager.
Shannon is one of the first people you speak with at Toronto Minor Surgery Center (TMSC) as their front-desk administrator. With more than 15 years of experience in medical administration, her deep knowledge supports The Center’s focus on quick, efficient, and quality treatment. Before joining the TMSC team in 2022, Shannon was the office manager for a plastic surgeon affiliated with Trillium Health Partners. In addition to managing his day-to-day office demands, Shannon booked operating rooms and outpatient surgeries. Before advancing into the office manager role, she worked for general practitioners and dermatologists to develop varied skills that prepare her to deliver excellence when interacting with patients, clients and peers. She earned her medical office administration credentials in 2005 and draws on her extensive background to make each office interaction seamless and stress-free. Shannon wants your visits to be filled with the compassion, patience, and accuracy.
Jenna Leitch is the Practise Director and Manager at The Minor Surgery Center. She entered the medical administration field in 2010. After being recruited into the Plastic Surgery community she was quickly transitioned into a practice manager role in 2015. Throughout the years she has been responsible for all scheduling, referrals and communication with patients. In additional to this, she coordinated all combined reconstructive breast cancer surgeries at Trillium Hospital from 2015 to 2021.

Transitioning from over a decade-long tenure at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington; spanning roles in Admitting, ER, Surgery, and ICU, she brings a wealth of knowledge, cultivated from years of varied experience in a hospital setting. With a background as a Licensed Aesthetician, her passion for health and wellness are intertwined. She seamlessly blends medical proficiency with a friendly and gentle demeanor. Kalli is here to guide, assist, and support you with precision, kindness, empathy, and compassion.
Tiziana Temple is one of our medical administrative assistants. She previously worked and competed in the health and fitness indusry. She has been an athlete,certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist since 2010. Tiziana is fluent in italian, french and english. She demonstrates her love and care daily for our patients and her co-workers.
